With the Murano all packed up we were ready to hit the road to Yosemite. Driving was easy head east toward the hills.

We stopped at McDonald's for a lunch and headed to Knight's Ferry to check out the cover bridge. I've passed this site many times but never stopped.

The weather was warm and clear as we drove up into Yosemite. We arrived in Toulumne Meadows around 1pm. I was embarrased that my reservations for our campsite was NEXT Saturday! But with the plague scare and campground closure earlier, there was no problem getting a campsite at the last minute. We had a site next to the river: A82. There wasn't a space large enough for the new tent so we put it in the driveway and just parked the car parallel to our spot.

Once the site was set up we walked along the river, got some wood for the fire and started dinner. We had stew that Toby made before leaving home.
