Sunny morning, the cruise ship was noticably going slower go through Passage toward Juneau.
We could see humpback whales from the boat, very nice.
We had breakfast early. Laterwe have lunch while the cruise ship docked in Juneau. It was very sunny, perfect weather and unusually warm, it sure didn't feel like Alaska.
Get off boat at 12:30am, and get ready for our 1:00 Mendenhall Glacier / Whale watching tour. We soon board a full bus. I forgot to give my ticket... oops! The bus headed north of town to Auke Gay to board the two level catamaran. The boat heads north through somewhat choppy waters to Saginaw Channel to the larger Lynn Canal. Eventually saw a group of whales bubble feeding. We saw this behavior numerous times. Very exciting.
Once the boat back to shore the bus took us to Mendenhall Glacier. There we hiked directly to Nugget Falls. We didn't stay long until we again boarded the bus back to downtown Juneau. Once there we strolled the shops then decided to take tram up to Mt. Roberts.
We were back on boat at around 8:45pm. We ate dinner at the buffet. We then take a nap before the evenings big dance. When it was time we put on our 'frozen' themed outfits and headed to the pool. Anne Steele perfoms and fun dance version of the Disney tune "Let it Go". It was blast during this 'cool' themed evening.
