On our last day of our Glacier National Park vacation we wake up early, check out of the Rising Sun Motel and make our way over to the waterfalls

We do a hike to St. Mary's Fall and then onto the taller Virginial Falls which is around the western edge of St. Mary's Lake. Pretty day and gorgeous views of the waterfall. Throughout the hike I thought I left the trekking poles at the hotel, but luckily they were in the car.

After the hike we hit the road back up and over the divide toware West Glacier. We stopped along the road by the McDonald River to view the rapids and waterfalls along the way. There was a bridge that crossed to the other side.

By mid afternoon we headed back into Kalispell to return the car and board the Alaska flight back to Seattle. From Seattle we headed back to San Francisco, no issues on the return trip. Martha then picked us up and brought us back to San Mateo. Glacier National Park is such a beautiful park, definately a must visit for National Park fans.
