Windy Hill

On this first day of 2013 on clear crisp and COLD winter day we head out for a hike. We drive up along Skyline Blvd along the Mid Peninsula and explore two Open Space Preserves: Russian Ridge and Windy Hill. This was our first visit to Windy Hill and were amazed with the wonderful views of Palo Alto and Portola Valley below. The 1,900+ elevation of Windy Hill was an easy climb from the road. We had a nice time although the temperatures were in the 40's and I was still battling my cold.
